I have come across another issue with GJ 2.4 / CB 1.7.1 that I am struggling to identify the cause of. The problem is to do with Kunena forum integration. Kunena version is 1.6.4

I have a forum category called 'User Groups' under which I have all of my GJ group forums. The problem is that this container changes itself after a few hours (sorry can't be more exact to become a root category (rather than a sub category of the main forum section) yet) and leaving all of the networks orphaned. I can re-establish the links buts the same thing happens later in the day. All other forums are OK so I can only assume that this is something to do with the CB integration

I never experienced this is the dev environment but since I transferred to live the forum is continually needing to be reset (by going into Forum and resetting the 'User Groups' parent & then into GJ and reselecting 'User Groups' as the forum container.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Could you please provide screenshots of the before and after? I don't quite understand your issue. Forums will structure as follows.

GroupJive
- Category
- - Group

Group forums will always be inside of their categories forums. GJ 1.8 previously structured them as follows, which isn't used by GJ 2.x as it's clunky and lacking features.

Problem fixed by installing Kunena 1.7 (At least, its been stable for 3 days. I guess there was something in CB1.7 that exposed a bug in Kunena.

For reference, in case any other user experiences the same problem the attached file explains what the problem was.
