I am trying to add a CB field to a members profile using an Editor Text Area. I want the profile owner to be able to insert images in the field as well as text. The field shows up correctly in the tab I set up and it looks fine until the logged in profile owner, in the front end, goes to the "Edit Your Details" page and tries to insert an image using the "insert" button under the WYSIWYG box. A pop up says "You are not authorised to view this resource."

I am using Joomla 1.7.3, CB ver 1.7 and CB Subs ver 1.2.2

Thanks this may be the answer. A "patch" is mentioned further down which seems to be aimed at my problem. Where could could I find this "patch", there don't seem to be links or addresses in the discussion?

Please excuse me for the last quick comment...I found the "patch" files at the bottom of the article link you sent me. Now I don't know what to do with them. I am unfamiliar with the ".patch" extension, but I will research it. It looks like a partial source file that may replace some of the code in image.php??

I found out how to use the .patch file, patched my file plugins/editors-xtd/image/image.php, and sure enough it worked!! There does seem to be a bug in Joomla 1.7. I hope other of your users can find this info useful.
