I have tried to configure the Facebook Connect plugin and followed the instructions but it shows 2 Sign On buttons instead of a Sign On and Register button. What could I have done wrong?

Screenshot of the issue? Joomla version? CB version? FBC version? Please be more specific. The exact instructions are provided when editing the plugin as well as in the documentation included with the plugin. Please follow the steps very carefully.

It's Joomla 1.7.3 and CB 1.7.1 with the latest Facebook connect.
When I initially set up CB i installed the Facebook connect and it appeared to work. I disabled because we didn't want to use it at first.
I checked Joomlapolis and found a newer version of the Facebook Connect so downloaded and installed it. Maybe the installation didn't update the previous version correctly?

FBC 1.7 is latest release, please upgrade if not done so already. If issue persists please attempt to provide screenshot of the issue so I may see what the problem is. FBC at no point in time should show multiple buttons.

A screenshot of the issue so I can see what multiple sign on you're referring to. Please note you'll of course see the normal username, password, login button in addition to Facebooks button. This does not replace CBs login.
