Have you any plans to join the ifttt (if this then that), it connects different social medias and let you trigger events and take actions up on that.

Not that I am aware. We avoid deep integration with 3rd party sources as it creates a dependency. If anything we want CB less dependent. Any 3rd party integration would be through an optional plugin, but I've no plans of integrating IFTTT (wasn't aware of it until now).
