Is it possible to use substitions in tab fields? was created by fribse2011

I have a jevent plugin for CB.
Is it possible to use substitions in the text field in the CB tab?

The field at the arrow is the same as here:

And I would love to enter the users name there.
But if I try and enter [name] it just shows '[name]'

Can I enter anything there, and what format is used?

That's a custom parameter for a plugin tab (jEvents). It will only allow substitutions if the creator of the plugin added support for substitutions. You'll need to contact the plugins developer to implement support for substitutions.
