CBsubs country not populated on invoice

12 years 1 month ago #197302 by serjo
On the invoice page for paid subscriptions, all fields auto populate (after I have set them up in CBsubs (CB fields for first invoicing address of customer) EXCEPT for the country. This field stays blank and people need to click on "update invoice address" to select (again) their country. I have tried with different values for the country (Full name of country, ISO2 code, ISO3 code) - none of them work.
How can we have the country field also auto-populate from an existing cb field? It's a real annoyance that people have to re-select their country.

using:
CB v2.0.x
CBsubs v 4.1.x
Joomla 3.3+

I believe your CB field value must match that of the drop-down select. You can find what values the drop-down select has within CBSubs invoice XML file below.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/xml/edit.front.invoice.xml

I have tried this to, but it does not work either. I have checked the edit.front.invoice.xml for the values and they are the ISO2 country code (for example DE or CH) these values get written into my cb fields (I checked the db table) and the field is set up to sync with cbsubs invoices as described in my previous post.

Update: I believe to know what the problem is. When I use full english values for the country (Germany, Austria, etc) then it works. The problem is that I MUST use iso3 country codes to be stored in my cbfield because this value also gets used in virtuemart. Is there any way to tell cbsubs invoicing to use ISO3 instead of country_name?
Thanks

You can try editing the XML (see previous post) and adjusting the values, but this may affect the Tax integration if being used.
