Where to get Auto Actions Plugin Documentation? was created by marriage_minded_man
Where do I get autoactions documentation. Is there a PDF somewhere? I know there are a few cases listed but is there more?

I just tried using the ACL auto assign at registration. But didnt work. Followed it exactly. I created a field (dropdown type) named "cb_usertype", added the values, etc. Then went into the auto actions and followed the case shown here

www.joomlapolis.com/support/tutorials/107-use-cases/18237-assigning-usergroup-based-on-cb-field-value

But it didn't work for me. The users that registered were assigned to "registered" ACL group which is the parent of the group that I want to put them in. Not sure what I did wrong. Does the field have to be a certain type?

Ok. Disregard. I figured it out. I wasn't using the [] brackets. hehe. Sorry.

However, when it does add the user to the specified group it also adds it to the parent group which is "Registered". Does this matter? Is it a necessity? Shouldnt the child group inherit all attributes anyways? Why did it do that?

No incubator project comes with documentation. We've a few examples on our tutorials page below, but that's about it.

Use "Replace" instead of "Add" as you're literally just adding another usergroup to their existing usergroups (J2.5 allows multiple usergroups).
