Hello,
Is there a way to access userprofile through address bar, like facebook?
This would allow a person to view a user profile through the address bar (if the person knows the path) rather than searching for the profile?
Eg:
www.example.com/username (as noted during registration process).
Does something like this exist? If not, could someone give me a clue of how to approach this?

With Joomla SEF enabled you can use URLs like the below
site/menu-alias/task/username
Example as follows.
www.joomlapolis.com/my-profile/userprofile/krileon
To have anything else you'll need to add custom rewrite rules to htaccess. Some 3rd party SEF extensions may also be able to shorten it, but we don't support 3rd party SEF.
