j25bot_cbauthor_1.0.1 seems faulty? was created by fribse2011
I just tried applying the bot to my installation, and it seems that only the first replacement was done

Please read the announcement - you need Joomla 2.5.6.

No, there are two authors, and on some of the articles an author alias has been set.

You need Joomla 2.5.6, anything before that could act oddly (due to a bug in Joomla). It replaces the author, created by alias, and modified by alias. Created/modified by alias is based off the created/modified by id sent with the article. Author is replaced by the created by user.

It also uses the formatname field so this field needs to be publicly visible (can be placed on a tab not shown on profile).
