search to match multi-set field

search to match multi-set field was created by jabrister
Here is the scenario

we have a set of users, each is requested to set one or more areas-of-interest during registration.

later, a given user may want to construct a query looking for users that match a set of interests.

the set-of-interests is defined in a field (multi-topic dropdown menu)

how then to:
1. provide the user a query with drop-down selection of areas-of-interest
2. accomplish the search for an intersect in the fields-of-interest
3. display the names (or links) to those matches

I've attempted to use the 'Search' in Menu-Manager-->Menu_item but it is quite confusing.

Please see your documentation in regards to userlists. You'll need to use a CB Userlist as configured in CB > Userlist Management.

ah,
have done that and now have the beginnings of a searchable list.

on the page that shows the list,
there is a *very small* [search list]

any way to make this 'search' menu bigger ?

can it be 'radio button' selection ?

and, when the user wants to adjust the search,
a (very small - foreshortened) drop-down menu is presented.

can the sizes & types of these be adjusted ??

thanks

Please provide a screenshot of what you want adjusted as I'm not sure what you're referring to. Everything can be styled with CSS.
