p.351 of CB Subs doc introduces the "extra (expandable parameter setting) frame..."
Can I use this to setup a Gold, Silver, Bronze plan (if, so how)?
The plans would have different pricing and allow more/less access to features on the site. The Please elaborate how this might be accomplished.

That's not descriptive enough as to what you're wanting. Based off what you provided you just need 3 exclusive plans with different prices and different content protected. Example as follows.
Gold (exclusive, allows upgrade, $50/mo)
Silver (exclusive, allows upgrade, $25/mo)
Bronze (exclusive, allows upgrade, $10/mo)
Gold (exclusive, allows upgrade, $50/mo)
Silver (exclusive, allows upgrade, $25/mo)
Bronze (exclusive, allows upgrade, $10/mo)
