Where do I change the value to achieve that result?

"Register to read more" where? If it was CBSubs it sends to plan selection page/registration. I'm guessing this is a Joomla issue and Joomla points to login? Need to be more specific.

It's the Joomla "Unauthorized Links" scheme.

I see, yeah CB has no control over this. I suppose you could use CB Core Redirect and modify it to always send to registration and never to login page. CB Core Redirect sends from Joomla pages to their CB counterpart. Alternative is to check if a 3rd party content extension can do it or a 3rd party Joomla extension.
