Password not being hashed was created by abrbhat
Password is not being hashed after registration and getting stored as it is. Is this a noted bug? How can it be resolved?

Various older incubator projects can cause this, but you've provided absolutely no information in regards to your environment so I've no idea. Check any CB plugins you've installed and see if they've new releases available.

actually the problem itself had arisen because of updation of a component. In the previous topic:https://www.joomlapolis.com/forum/153-professional-member-support/211159-email-auto-action-not-working-properly

It was suggested to me to upgrade the auto action from 3.0.2 to 3.1.0. Somehow, because of that the password stopped being hashed. After I installed 3.0.2 again, everything was fine again?!

What kind of auto actions are you using? This shouldn't happen in 3.1.0 and had been fixed already.
