Works perfectly fine in all my tests. Please see the below where it's working fine.
Do you have SEF enabled? 3rd party SEF? Joomla SEF? Try disabling if enabled and see if issue persists. Only way for this to happen is if for whatever reason the user id was stripped from the post.

Ok, I've tested that.
1. we have no 3pd SEF installed. We use only the integrated Joomla Core SEF
2. when all CORE SEF settings are off, the postings goes right.
It's definitivley a SEF Routing Problem with the Core SEF
Same Problem happens when you try to send a firend an Email. When you klick on a firends Email Button, the new opend mailwindow will send you a Email to yourself

I just applied your router.php.patch and tested it.
