I tried that and didn't even see my query. What I am trying to do is upon successful registration (which successfully checks the registration code, Thank you so much) the user is automatically given a 1 year subscription. Any ideas?

If the query isn't firing at all then the auto action likely isn't configured properly; please provide a screenshot of your query actions configuration.

Here's the screen shot. I had it enabled, I disabled it hoping you might know how in CB Subs to set it up to give 1 year on registration.

Why are you using External mode? That's only useful if the database isn't on the same host. I suggest setting this to Internal.

I tried both ways, I went external to ensure database was set right and eliminate any possible issues.

External doesn't benefit if the database is internal as you're connecting to a database you're already connected to. If the database you're trying to query is the same one used by Joomla then please set this to Internal. Test your query in phpmyadmin (you'll need to replace #__ with your table prefix) to see if the query is working.
