Question: GJ videos deleted when moving group

11 years 6 months ago #214675 by jojo12
Hi,
I had a nested group with wallposts, videos in it. Then I changed this group to a non-nested group. After all the wall posts and videos were deleted.
Is this wanted like that? I think, the posts and videos should stay in there.

In which cases, the post and videos go away?

Thanks.

It shouldn't delete anything. You'll lose physical items like files or photos (this is fixed inn 2.6.0), but the rest are tied to that groups id so unless that changed for whatever reason then everything should stay as is. If you delete the group then it of course will also delete its data. Editing it and changing its parent or category shouldn't delete anything though.
