thats precisely what i need (a general url) my problem is that if i want to search for a user (on the userlist) if i click on a user there, i get the non-sef url: component/comprofiler/userprofile/xxx?Itemid=xxx losing all the modules on the previous page breadcrumbs, menus, etc. i dont find a way to correct that behavior.

You need to create a public and published Joomla menu item with menu type Community Builder > User Profile. Leave User and Tab empty. That's all you'll need to do for SEF profile URLs.

Yes i noticed that but the problem i mentioned you when i clic a user profile does not work with that. I dont get a sef url for that case.

Works perfectly fine on our demo site below.

I'm guessing you've some sort of access issue with the menu item. Ensure it's public, published, and set to display for all languages. If you're using a 3rd party SEF extension try disabling it and just let Joomlas SEF rewrite the URLs.
