Message limit was created by AlanJones
Am I correct in saying that comment and reply limits are set here in the Activity Streams?I'm changing this setting and it doesn't make a difference for my users, it's still on 400.

Correct, but you need to be sure you're editing the correct stream. What stream are you trying to disable the message limit for?

I have five streams and I set all of them to 0, but there's still a limit.

Ah, sorry I misread your post. The parameter in your screenshot is the message limit for activity posts. For comments you need to edit the comment streams and adjust their message limit.
