What happens to custom CB fields when using FB?

Just used my Facebook login to register on scribd.com. I noticed that scribd have a 'Use Facebook to finish your profile' button, with the following explanation;
"Import more of your Facebook profile information to help us personalise your experience on Scribd. It's quick, easy and takes just one click - we promise."
Perhaps this could be a model for CB, though I know the CB custom fields may not always be available on the FB profile.

No, we're opting not to cross the barrier of privacy issues. If you wish to develop an integration that uses the API to do as you're wanting you most certainly are welcome. However we will not be providing personal information synchronization as it crosses into user privacy. FBC will only bring over what is necessary for the registration. Previous Facebook API did NOT respect users privacy and latest API only does to an extent.Perhaps this could be a model for CB, though I know the CB custom fields may not always be available on the FB profile.
