updating from 1.9.1 was created by libby
Hi
I am using version 1.9.1. In the back-end - I am told this is the latest version. Is version 2+ a different extension or can I update directly from 1.9.1?

CB 2.x is an upgrade to CB 1.x. However, you're way behind on information if you're just discovering this. First steps are to backup your site, clone it, install CB 2.x, update all your CB plugins as needed, then test that everything behaves as expect and get familiar with the UI improvements and feature changes. I suggest going through our News articles found below for various postings we've made about progress and changes.

For CB 2.x plugin updates please see our compatibility chart below.

Nick has also put together several great videos for various CB usages, which may be of help to you during your upgrade.

CB 2.x is only compatible with Joomla 2.x and Joomla 3.x though so if you're on Joomla 1.x you'll need to migrate Joomla first.
