The ajax checks won't stop user storage. We fixed that already. Ensure you're using CB 1.8.1. If save still isn't occurring then you've something else likely conflicting. Disable non-core CB plugins 1 by 1 until resolved.

Hi,

When I disable the CB Core Fields Ajax plugin it's working again. Only it says 'error' but it saves the profile.

We got people who said that after changing their password in the with-cb-ajax-enabled field, they can't login anymore with their new password, either with their old password.

I tested it with my 'registered' test user and I can confirm the problem. So I disabled the feature. But it is a nice one. Is it related to the other CB-ajax-firstname and last name question I put on the forum earlier?

Ensure CB Core Fields Ajax is up to date. There was a problem with password fields not working properly with Ajax (fixed in 1.4.2). Latest is 1.4.4.

we had 1.4.4 already running. We start building this website with CB 2 months ago.

I will enable it to investigate if the problem still exist.
