[SOLVED] Language and Format of the Date Field

12 years 5 months ago - 12 years 4 months ago #183704 by blueprints
I have two questions about the date field:

1. I use the date-field for a script and need the format dd.mm.yyyy, but CB delivers the date-field in the code-plugin with dd-mm-yyyy. Can I change this?

2. The months in the frontend-field are shown in English. I need the months in German (I uste the CB 1.7.0 - language file). How can I change this?

Thanks a lot
Peter

CB Configuration -> General Tab -> Date format parameter

(also explained in the documentation).

There I already had dd.mm.yyyy - but nevertheless in the database I have: yyyy-mm-dd (for example 2012-07-18) :S

How can I change the entry in the database to dd.mm.yyyy (18.07.2012) ?

The entry in the database will always be a date formatted field.
I don't think you can change it.

o.k. - a last try :-)

I call onAfterUserConfirm (with CB Code) the following URL:

003.xxx.de/box.php?email=[email]&name=[name]&p=540&nlbox[1]=555&funcml=add&field[1572,0]=registrierung&field[702,0]=[cb_geburtstermin]

Do I have a chance to deliver cb_geburtstermin to this URL-Call as dd.mm.yyyy?

Possibly, if that's your format as configured in CB > Configuration > General you could try the below substitution to render the field formatted.

[cb:userfield field="cb_geburtstermin" /]
