I am about to/want to install CB Subs on this site with this DTRegister issue. I've reached out to the development team at DTRegister explaining table re-writing issue. No luck yet.
So do you think this table rewrite issue will affect a CB Subs install?
I need an extension that allows people to register, with payment, for events that this group of people put on once a month. The site came with DT Register and I'm considering switching to JEvents instead. But that's another $100 to switch to JEvents with the extra add-ons that allow me to have people pay for these events they are registering for.
If CBSubs will work with the table-rewrite issue, I will stick with DT REgister and not use the blog plugin (that doesn't work with DT Register). If CBSubs will NOT work with this table-rewriting issue, I will ditch DT Register and switch to JEvents and spend the $125 on CBSubs and the $100 on the gold pkg for JEvents with the payment gateway to pay for event registration.

My recommendation is to completely remove DTRegister, in all the installs I've reviewed that had it it was typically always a culprit. Another common culprit encase users are curious is that CB My Videos 3rd party plugin.
DTRegister needs to be using JTable::addIncludePath to add new table paths rather then rewriting the table base path. You'll need to discuss this with the developer however as this isn't something I can fix for you, sorry.
CBSubs doesn't have a events integration so you'd probably need an extension that has that sort of thing or at least has a ticketing system that you could try letting CBSubs handle the payments for by using By URL Part protection.
