just installed and configured FB Connect

joomla 1.5.25
CB 1.7.1
FBC 1.5

it's not connecting whether or whether not i am in an active FB session.

this is the error I get in the popup

An error occurred with MOB-SignOn. Please try again later.

API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application
Error Message: Invalid redirect_uri: Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.


I have tried these three versions of the redirect URL in the FB app build
www.mothersofboysonline.com
www.mothersofboysonline.com/
www.mothersofboysonline.com/index.php

I realize this may fully be an app-build issue - but thought I'd post on here as well.

apparently the APP DOMAIN under the "basic info" section has to be filled out with just the mothersofboysonline.com (( do not include http://www ))

This step was not in the instruction PDF on pages 15-16

I also used the trailing slash / in the "website" section

The app build process on FB has recently changed a bit so you might want to revisit the instruction PDF.

hope that helps anyone else out there...

however, the pop up comes up, I have allowed access, returned to my site - and there is no change, no user sign in - no indication that FBC did work and my user-connect process worked.



just tried it with a FB account that did NOT exist in CB Users, and with an email that DOES exist in CB Users -

neither showed any indication on live site that either user HAD been logged in to the site.

user that had never had an account on live site is NOT showing up in CB Users/Site Users lists.

it's not working in IE8 and Firefox 9 or Safari 5.1.2

i also set the login redirect link to go to
mothersofboysonline.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler
and that didnt work either
