OK, I uninstalled CB 1.8 and the problem is persisting. I can't get the regular Joomla 1.7 login module to work. It worked before the CB installation, so I'm at a loss.
Is it possible there are some settings or other that I've stupidly set?
I never received a PM from you regarding backend login credentials. Please check your Sent PMs to ensure you sent it to the correct person. You may want to delete the credentials and re-create them. Please don't uninstall CB 1.8. Please upgrade before providing credentials for review. If it's also happening to Joomlas login then it clearly isn't a CB problem, but will review anyway as a courtesy as already stated previously I'd review.

I already have the latest CB 1.8 upgrade. Exactly which credentials are you asking me to change? I just re-PM'ed you Joomla details to check from back-end
Have reviewed your install and it's due to SEO Settings in Joomla Global Configuration. Once disabled it now works fine. I recommend updating Joomla (2.5.2) to latest (2.5.3) and confirm if issue persists. I could not confirm locally nor were there any errors present on your install. For now I've disable SEO for you and confirmed is now working.
