I'm trying to get users to join groups at registration by field selection (multiple selection check-box).
The AutoAction works great if a user updates their profile, but I can't get it to work on registration.
The triggers i'm using are noAfterUserProfileSaved and onAfterUserRegistration. I've tried many others and can't seem to get it to work.
Any triggers I should try?
CB GroupJive comes with an Auto Join fieldtype. You should be able to use that to let them select groups to join during registration. Simply create a new field of type Auto Join. If you still want to use CB Auto Actions for that then onAfterUserRegistration is the correct trigger to be doing this on.

It's published, in the correct position set to profile, registration, and profile edit.
Is there a plugin I need to enable?
It respects access permissions. Are guests able to see and access those groups? Category access is usually the biggest culprit. Category or group being unpublished would also make them unavailable. Groups of Page type also won't be there as Page groups don't have user management.

They'e all open groups. But they are not viewable by guest, and that's important for me.
Maybe I can do a two stage registration?
But even for a registered user the field doesn't show in their profile edit.
There used to be an "enable plugins" button somewhere in CB Config or login modules? Does that still exist? I was looking for it. Maybe that is switched off.
The groups can be private. Their type doesn't matter except for Page type being excluded. Category access matters though. What's the Access parameter of their category set to? CB GroupJive itself in CB > Plugin Management should also be marked Public or the plugin won't load.
