This is working as intended. Only tabs shown in profile edit can have privacy controls. This is a bug where currently tabs that do not have a edit tab can't be privacy controlled; this is fixed for next release.If I click on edit, and update my profile, I get a box with 2 tabs, one says portrait and one says contact info. Clicking on these both have all you say, the privacy controls next to the fields, and 1 privacy control at the top right, which when I set it makes the contact info tab not visible from another non-connected login.
Currently, you can't; it's a bug.How to I control privacy on the my friends and my stories tabs? They do not appear when I update my profile. How do I get them to appear there?
Possibly next week. I can't say for sure; we don't provide release dates.When will this be available?

Thanks for the reply. I suppose there is no hack that could be done in the meantime? Also, just curious. When I added a tab as you said and it appeared when editing profile, does this mean they show up if added after the privacy plugin is in place? In other words, could you remove the plugin for the stories tab, then reinstall it and have it show up in the editing tabs? Just hoping for a quick fix as this is the only thing holding me back from putting the site "live".

No.In other words, could you remove the plugin for the stories tab, then reinstall it and have it show up in the editing tabs?
There isn't one, it's a bug in the plugin that prevents tabs that do not show in profile edit from allowing users to change the privacy controls of that tab.Just hoping for a quick fix as this is the only thing holding me back from putting the site "live".
This is fixed for next release.

Thanks for the reply. One additional question. Is there a way to change what default option comes up. Right now it is visible on profile for everyone. Is it possible to make it for direct connections only as the default, and they would have to change it if they wanted it visible?

No, sorry there is not. We've a feature request ticket in place to add such a capability with a future release though.Is there a way to change what default option comes up.
