Does the security enhancments list include using Captcha imaging during the login and registration process?

nope - such a feature could easily be added with a plugin.

Will we be able to import everything from the older site?

If so, how?

I mean, importing all users, extra fields and data etc.

Good question. I am working on bringing up a new site and was curious of how easy the upgrade will be versus a new installation? I want to maximize the time placed into the system.

For most sessioned CB'ers this is known.

The readme file distributed in each release gives detailed instructions regarding upgrades.

If you follow the instructions - yes your existing data is preserved.
