Is there a way to export ONLY ENABLED users?
I have 2200+ but only 775 are currently enabled and those are the only ones I want to export/import.

I manually DISable users when their subscription period is over; so those people would not be imported into a current plan on the new CSubs site.

You can export out of CB/Joomla any way you like. I've never used CBJuice so don't know if it allows this. Make a backup of your site and give it a try.

Hi Aly,

That cannot be done with CBJuice. It will export all users. The downside is that the export does not include the 'enabled' field so you cannot edit afterwards.

Perhaps you could export using CB Juice then use phpmyadmin to export the table with the enabled field.

Cross match the 2 sets of data. Then do a sort on the enabled column and delete the rows that are disabled.

Remove the columns you used to cross match and then import via CB Subs.

Hope this helps

Ok, I've installed a 2nd test site so I can try a variety of things. But is there a benefit to using CBJuice over just a straight phpmyadmin export?

IOW, could I export via phpmyadmin, then build in the subscription plan columns, edit the start/end dates and then import that user table in one fell swoop? I think that's what I was hoping, actually.

Ok, ... I finally managed to get the CBJuice import to ALMOST work ... but half of the users NAME (real name) field turned up EMPTY (Blank!) even though I can see it completely correctly in the exported file (via OpenOffice). And passwords on a couple of my test accounts are not recognized.

So it didn't work ... :S something somewhere slipped and threw data off (I'm guessing)

If anyone is willing to help with this for a reasonable price I'm willing to pay.

Still trying, but very frustrated  :pinch:

I think your suggestion makes a lot of sense, but merging the 2 files will add additional column data that is unexpected for CB - no?

Just to verify: You are saying to merge the jos_users table with the CBJuice exported data and then delete all users who are "blocked" (disabled)

And then import that resulting file straight through CBSubs Import? Or do I also need to remove the jos_user columns afterwards?

And then I can edit the register dates for all the users?

If that is what you are saying, I am going to see if my brother-in-law (the excel guru LOL) can help me merge those files. Or ... offer is still open for someone here willing to help?
