Invisible ReCaptcha returning "Invalid Security Code" on submitted Registration

Was able to confirm, but only once. After the first failure it continues to work again. So seams to likely be some initialization behavior change with reCaptcha causing it. Will investigate further.

It looks like, in my case at least, it's caused by something else loading reCaptcha before CB can. You mentioned you had another extension using reCaptcha. It's possible these are conflicting. I will attempt to improve the CB AntiSpam JS to utilize whatever reCaptcha JS is available, but I can't guarantee I can workaround this as typically only 1 instance of reCaptcha should be loaded.

Ok, have made further improvements to how the reCaptcha JS is loaded and detected and changed the verify HTTPS call to explicitly be a POST as their documentation now suggests. I'm not seeing any issues with reCaptcha v2 or v3 verifying at this point.

Please update to latest CB AntiSpam build release now available. If issue persists please PM me a link to your registration form so I can see if there's any errors causing it to fail.

I considered that in my testing and made sure that RSForms wasn't loading it on the same page. When I disable RSForms recaptcha v3 plugin on the same page, that's when the recaptcha badge doesn't load at all.

In our case, ReCaptcha v3 doesn't seem to be initializing via the AntiSpam plugin, based on the absence of the badge.

Please see if that's still the case with latest build release. If issue persists please PM the URL to your registration form and will see if some sort of JS error maybe causing this.

Apologies for going dark on this thread. When the latest build release didn't resolve our issue I began doing some other testing and research, including finding that other extensions were also having recaptcha failures. I think most of us have become aware now that Google definitely made code changes that broke reCaptcha for many sites.

Have you by chance, found out more about the recaptcha code changes and how to overcome the seeming conflict that causes recatpcha to fail in CB, as well as other extensions that make use of it?
