Reviewing your install you've no "Section" specified under "External". The "Categories" parameter under "Internal" does not apply to Joomla 1.6 "Model" parameter. Reviewing your Joomla articles Categories you do not have an appropriate Tree of categories to qualify for blogs usage. I've made the following as an example and you're welcome to change as necessary.

Blogs
- General
- People
- Entertainment

Have also configured CB Blogs for your and confirmed working on frontend.

I appreciate your help a lot! I own a few sites based on Joomla 1.5 but i am really confused with Joomla 1.6.

Very much welcome. The configuration of CB Blogs is kind of confusing in the backend. Will be reviewing ways to clean it up so unnecessary parameters aren't shown as it simply confuses users.

but i am really confused with Joomla 1.6.
