Your plugin is missing Application ID:, please review the documentation and the instructions within the plugin edit page it self. You can find Application ID within your Facebook Application. This is a requirement brought by FBC 1.1 wherein the new Facebook API is being used.

Your issue is not the same, his was a misconfiguration. Please switch to default Joomla template and review any on-screen message after the redirect. There's likely a fault in the registration process, but your template is likely missing the message tag preventing the message from appearing. Please also review your browser error log for any fatal JS errors.

You did not configure your Facebook Application correctly. Please review the documentation and the instructions provided within the backend when editing the plugin. In the (e.g. XYZ) are actually rendered from your site providing you with what the parameters should be.

Please note you can not access your site at www.example.com and have example.com configured as this will not work. www.example.com does not equal example.com.

Again, I think I am getting close. I followed to the letter and when I try to "save" in FB I get this error message
URL must point to a directory (i.e., end with a '/' or a dynamic page (i.e., have a '?' somewhere).
this takes me to the About tab I am assuming it is a problem with the "terms of Service or Privacy url.
any clue?
