Not sure what could be causing the error. I got the API info from my PayPal Sandbox account.

If you click on the log date, you will see the details of that Notification.

Also check for the History&Errors entry (same: click for details), which might have additional hints.

the notifications says that it was denied, reason code 8888. I don't know what that means.

I'm using the API information to use on a test server, and I used the 4242424242424242 credit card number as specified.

But its still not processing the test correctly.

Please review the notification. At the bottom is the raw notification output, which will generally have the error that is occurring.

Since im not getting anywhere with getting Paypal Pro to work. I tried to test using a regular Paypal gateway.

everything seems to work ok until the payment is completed goes back to my website. When it goes back to my website from Paypal I get this message on my site.

Sorry no response for your payment from payment server (error Error: cURL could not retrieve the document, error 7.). Please check your email and status later.
