nope it's a defined user object with [var1_user_id] being the owner of the CB activity row and which correctly returns all the CBuser fields except the query ones.
For now I reverted to a standard DB query to retrieve the data as the query field doesn't work
Is your query field set to display on profile? By default getFields gets the profile view value of the field which respects display and access permission checks.

Does it display on profile for the user you're using to execute your auto action. The access checks are against the viewing user. If the auto action is being executed externally then the viewing user is guest and if a guest can't see the field neither will the API unless you tell the API to ignore access checks (see documentation as there's a parameter for that).

Yes it's an access rights issue.
Sorry I did not notice the access parameter in the function, that will solve everything, thanks again.
It's just a learning curve for every detail but your software is of very very high level and I easily admit that it's THE best component for joomla
Just a follow up : it seems that the access parameter solve the access rights but has no effect on the control made by CBsubs.
Could it be an idea to have a new level to override CBSubs subscriptions also ?
