Profile Hydration has been implemented. This allows a tabs contents to be loaded in and rendered after the profile page has been accessed. This moves tabs heavy loading behavior to individual client side calls. This is a great way to improve profile performance with a lot of tabs or fields.
Tabs and fields being hydrated will display a simple loader icon. This is template driven so it can be customized with custom template files as well. Tabs and fields can hydrate based off their tab being selected or when the page loads. For page loads you can supply an optional delay to delay the loading.
This works for both Home and Other profile views. With the tab and field loading performance improvements in Community Builder 2.12 in addition to profile content hydration you can make your profiles packed full of features, but still blazing fast.
You should find the above new parameters within your tabs and fields under Parameters > CB Core Fields Ajax.
