Once you have installed and published the Community Builder Online module you can unpublish the Joomla online module.
Just visit your:
- Extensions → Module Manager page
- Unpublish (or delete if you want) all module instances of type 'Who's Online'.
Note
Community Builder uses the Joomla online session management entities, so in theory you could keep the Joomla module instead of the Community Builder Online module. However in this case you will not have username linking from the online module to the User profiles and you will miss out on all the extra features available in the Community Builder Online module..
