CB Reconfirm Email Configuration

Changed (tab)

  • Message:
    This is the message that the system will show to the user after the change of the email at users profile. You can leave it as is, or you can enter your text using supported substitutions. If left blank, no message will show.

Notification (tab)

  • From Name:
    This is the sender’s name that will show in the email to the user that have changed his/hers email.
    Input a substitution supported from name, to be sent with all reconfirm emails (e.g. My Awesome CB Site!). If left blank will default to users name. If specified, a replyto name will be added as the users name.
  • From Address: This is the sender’s email address that will show in the email to the user that have changed his/hers email.
    Input a substitution supported from address to send all reconfirm emails from (e.g. general@domain.com). If left blank will default to users email. If specified, a replyto address will be added as the users email.
  • Subject:
    This the title of the email to the user that have changed his/hers email.
    Input the title you want. You can use supported substitutions.
  • Body:
    This is the text of the email that will be send to the user that have changed his/hers email.
    Input html and substitution supported reconfirm email body. You can give options to the user either to confirm new email address or to cancel the change and continue using the old one.
    Supply [reconfirm] to display the confirmation link. Additionally [old_email] can be used to display the old email address or [new_email] to display the new email address.
  • CC Address: Use this field if you want to send the email to others with their address visible.
    Input a substitution supported CC address (e.g. ); multiple addresses supported with comma seperated list (e.g. email1@domain.com, email2@domain.com, email3@domain.com).
  • BCC Address: Use this field if you want to send the email to others with their address invisible.
    Input a substitution supported BCC address (e.g. ); multiple addresses supported with comma seperated list (e.g. email1@domain.com, email2@domain.com, email3@domain.com).
  • Attachment: Use this field if you want to send one or more attached files.
    Input a substitution supported Attachment address (e.g. [cb_myfile]); multiple addresses supported with comma seperated list (e.g. /home/username/public_html/images/file1.zip, http://www.domain.com/file3.zip).

Reconfirmed (tab)

  • Redirect:
    From here you can define to which page you want to redirect the user after successful reconfirmation of new email.
    Input substitution supported URL to redirect to after successful reconfirm. If left blank no redirect will be performed.
  • Message:
    This is the system message that will appear at your website after successful reconfirmation. Substitution are supported.

Canceled (tab)

  • Redirect:
    From here you can define to which page you want to redirect the user after successful canceling the change of email.
    Input substitution supported URL to redirect to, after successful cancellation. If left blank no redirect will be performed.
  • Message:
    This is the system message that will appear at your website after successful cancellation. Substitution are supported.

Button Email (at plugin manager)

From here you can see details of the emails (if any) that they have been sent to users that have changed their initial email address and the state of confirmation.
