[SOLVED] Modifiying CB teplate was created by agouldtdc
Is there a guide to editing or creating a CB template? I'm using OSX. I see the CSS files but where is the layout specified pleased? I know I can change the number of columns and width in the user profile but I'd really like to be able to make other alterations.

TIA

Andrew

Page 68 of your documentation is a good start. There are a few other locations within the documentation that discuss it. :)

Thanks. I have searched the documentation and the forums. The only clue for layout is the php index file and that's about it. I think that the path on p68 is wrong; it should be {websitestructure}\components\com_profiler\plugin\templates.

The CSS files are fine to make some graphical changes but I'd like to make some fairly basic layout modifications (like a box and heading for a newsletter plugin) on the registration field.

Page 179 for the heading, and I'm not sure what you mean by "a box" but that should be doable with CSS too. Just use Firefox's Firebug or an equivalent developer's tool to see which CSS element and file to change to your liking.

Thanks Rapunzl!

I already have a CSS class for a box (a div with rounded corners) it is just a question of getting it in the right place and I can't see with Firebug which the relevant file is that holds the HTML. It looks like CB generates a table into which the various core files (username etc) and plugins are inserted as rows, but I'm not sure how it does that. I'd just like to modify the appearance of that row.

It's not major but it would look better I think. I'll have another look :)

Check out the bottom of page 113 for more information regarding delimiter fields. Also, try searching for other posts like this one for additional info.
