I've searched unsuccessfully through the HTTP 404 postings but cannot find this one.
I'm running CB 1.2.2 under Joomla 1.5.18 and when I try to Login under IE 8, I get "OOPS! This page appears broken. HTTP 404 - File not found". See attached Word doc.
The Login completes logging in OK, but I get this message.
The Login Redirect field is blank. One reply to another posting suggested changing it to: index.php?com_comprofiler. I tried that - no change.
Firefox has no problems - bloody IE again ! ! !
Can somebody please help me asap, as I am currently in website pre-launch (www.aus4017.com).

I'm having the same problem. i have Joomla 1.5.19 and CB 1.2.3. but i still get an Error 404 when i attempt to log in through CB. When i log in through Joomla's login module, everything is good. i went through the "read me" twice an i still get the same results.

I have successfully upgrade to Joomla 1.5.20 and CB_1_2_3, but the problem still exists.
As per my orignal posting, the Login produces the 404 screen I providedin the attachment (in IE 8 only, but does complete the Login otherwise - it's as if it is a final step error. It shows "Error on Page" at bottom left of screen. My site is www.aus4017.com. Probably needs Firebug analysis, which unfortunately I am not yet competent at.

Most annoying to IE users, which is obviously the majority out there.

I'm happy to provide Login details via private email if that will help. Need to fix it quickly as I am in prelaunch.
