Profile link in userlist does not work

11 years 8 months ago #206636 by SPABO
When logged in, and if I go to the userlist, and click on the link to my own profile, it brings me back to the userlist, and thus does not open my own profile

If I click on any other user it's fine, it only happens with my own profile

Additional info: Joomla 2.5.6, CB 1.8.1

If I hover on my own profile link:
www.sitename/menuitemname.html >>>and thus returns to the userlist

If I hover on an other linker from any user
www.sitename/userlists/userprofile/USER.html

Did you follow instructions and create a Public link to CB component?

Turn SEF off and retest.

No clue what you are trying to say I'm afraid.

I just go to create new menu item, select CB Userlist

Howeven, wehen selected : it says "logout action" . Apparently it picks the default list

The CB 1.8.1 package comes with a CB installation guide.

Did you follow these instructions?

Oops, even when I installed I "ignored" the installation guide!

Now, with the workaround, it works fine! :)

Thanks a lot!

It's not a workaround - it's a Joomla requirement!
All frontend outputting components need a menu item.
