Email check not working in registration

Hi,

The email checking on the registration appears to be not working.

I have emails that people are registering that are not correct. one example is a person who mixed up 2 letters of their name on their email address.

I have the latest version of CB. Please help Thanks.

What exact version of Joomla and CB are you using?

Do not understand what you mean by email check not working - does it say that email is right even though its wrong?
Or the opposite?

What I mean is at the registration page. The email checking is not working. Even when the user registered a typo on his email address. Example peter.ggaskin@teamdiscovery.eu

Well, the email address you gave is a valid one in terms of structure.

Yes but how do we prevent this. Is there a way to check the email address for mistakes?
