[SOLVED] Hide Content depending on CBsubs Plan

Looks like a limitation of the API. It's very taxing to parse substitutions for so much text. Not much I can advise other then keep the text within a substitution as minimal as possible. Maybe better to supply your text in a delimiter field then substitute in the delimiter field?

By now I used JUGA for this and never had problems with that.
With Juga I could hide or show unlimited amount of text or code with a simple
{jugaaccess 2}unlimited amout of text{/jugaaccess}

But in Juga I have to choose the users with Plan 2 manually and assign them to the JUGA-Group. I wanted to get rid of this additional effort because Community Builder has priority for my user management.

Also, 300 characters aren't so much text I think? Depends on what you are doing! ;) I have special offers for all members in a plan. Maybe with one or two images... You are promoting the CB subs plugin "show or hide article content based on viewer CB field values! Fantastic value - the possibilities are limitless!

LIMITLESS :D

My customer himself is edtiting the Joomla-Articles, so I will have to have the content inside of the article.

If it is not possible to fix this issue in the next version, you should state the limitation in the description of the plugin. I know a lot of users that are looking for a way to show/hide article inline content with plugins.

Could it also be a limitation of the Server? Is there anything I could ask my provider for?

Thanks!

Never knew there was such a limitation until now as substitution were always used for short rendering of text in delimiter fields. Have created a bug ticket to investigate further below. More then likely the REGEX is choking up.

Nope, I confirmed your issue locally. I also reviewed CB Content Bot and it doesn't seam to be the Bot causing it. Needs further review however to know for sure.
