[SOLVED] Account confirmation emails not going out

When a user registers for an account, they are supposed to get the confirmation email. It is not going out. When I go into the backend and manually re-send the confirmation email, it says it sent, (the green box) but above that is a yellow box with "Warning The mailer function is currently not enabled."
I checked all the plugins, and as far as I can tell, everything should be working as it was before. All other components on the site can send emails fine. (Events Booking, ACY Mailing, Membership Pro)
I have CB 2.07 and J! 3.4.1
What would be causing this?

I am also tracking a similar problem.

Can you please provide your PHP version number?

Ok - looks like CB is not picking up the default Joomla parameter.

Work-around that works for me (until this is resolved in the next CB release):

1. Go to Joomla Global Parameters
2. Find the Send Email parameter in the Server tab and set it to No and then save
3. Set it now to Yes and save

CB Emails should now work.

Please confirm.

That seemed to work - I no longer get the yellow box error message.
