automatic password substitution when editing a profile

2 years 8 months ago #326109 by AlecsRU
I encountered a problem with automatic password substitution when editing a profile. Users have substitution enabled in the browser and they do not see that the browser has substituted a login and password pair in another tab. As a result, they will not save the data. Is it possible to somehow limit the input of a username and password?

We are already setting the appropriate "autocomplete" attributes on the password input and the form itself. There's nothing we can do about this and it's something you need to adjust in your password manager. By default LastPass for example ignores "autocomplete" value, which can be configured to not ignore it.
