Hopefully I've got the right forum...

We run a couple of Joomla Sites and are looking to add an email function. I've noticed lots of posts in regards to this and yet still no solution/component has been made. Although there are several Hacks. I'd like to introduce a hack that works with our configuration but would like some advice first.

Firstly, I don't code at all, my staff will be doing this, we're also happy to discuss paying someone else for assistance.

We have Joomla 1.0.8 on SuSE 10.2 running ISP Config and UebiMiau webmail. I'd like to get users added to Community builder to be added to the User Database on ISP Config. We would then like to add a menu item that will take community builder login information and pass this to UebiMiau and Wrap it within community builder.

So.. is this the wrong appraoch? Is it possible? Any suggestions and getting started or people willing to offer assistance?
