I'm building new user interface for uddeIM, make it working on Joomla 2.5 + Bootstrap engine (twitter.github.com/bootstrap)

But I'm too worry about future update of uddeIM component, because as you may know, it has not developed as Joomla's MVC standards.

I am working on uddeIM 2.8 which contains some bug fixes and it would make sense to update this version before we have to independent branches.

Possible solutions:

A. ) UddeIM custom template with bootstrap CSS styles (simply duplicate CSS rules)
B. ) UddeIM core output with suitable bootstrap classes and markup (might include config parameters in backend?)

A) possible, any volunteer?
requires several hundreds of changes, and drops backward compatibility. UddeIM war originally written for Joomla 1.0 and these components looked quite different from the code.
