User subscription activated as Renewed

I am looking in the CB Paid Subscriptions: Edit History and Logs for a member and the last message shown is 'User subscription activated as Renewed'.

The reason for looking is that I cannot see a payment for the renewal. We have 3 transactions where they were upgraded in the same way as always, but with missing transactions.

Can you confirm what action would give this result? There are no other logs relating to member/transaction.

What payment gateway are you using? Do they actually have a renewal according to CBSubs > Subscriptions (review their dates, previous status, etc..)? If their subscription looks correct in CBSubs > Subscriptions then there's nothing to worry about. You can confirm payments within CBSubs > Payments as well.

The payment gateway was 'pay offline'.

This is an issue, as we have to report on a monthly basis all new members, renewals and lapsed to a third party and the new & renewals are done by using the payments info. WIthout this info, I will misreport, which could have some major ~(costly) implications.

Offline payments are processed entirely by administration. It's no possible for an offline payment to accidentally renew. The basket would have to be deliberately paid in CBSubs > Baskets. If there's no basket, but they were renewed then they were renewed from within CB > User Management by directly editing the user and renewing from the Subscription tab which does not create a basket.
