Replied by krileon on topic CB Conditional and CB Subs during registration... Problems with TABS and FIELDS.
The conflict is unlikely to ever be fixed. Having 2 plugins fighting for control over how a field or tab should display can never properly work well together. The plan is for CB Conditional to eventually be able to conditioning against CBSubs plans so you wouldn't need to use CBSubs Fields Tabs Protection at all.
