Is this plug in still available? I've searched everywhere

The plugin is being updated. I know the old version 0.1.9 was on the JoomlaForge which is no longer working. The new plugin should be available on the new joomlacode.org forge soon.

Greg, do you have a copy of the old version? If so, can you send it to me?

It is still in beta and doesn't support virtuemart 1.0.10

I personally will not install this just now and wait for the improvements mentioned at the virtuemart forum to be included
