I, too, like many others are waiting for the 1.2 release. But not in a critical need, like some.

I would think, you would be able to make subscriptions based on sign up date + 365 days = expiration date.

LOTS of us has asked about this, and I believe Beat or Nant mentioned they are looking into this and agree that it should be based on a calendar year.

Perhaps they could assure you (and others on the fence) that they will fix this by the end of the year and people would be compelled to sign up now, rather than waiting.

Is this retroactive to, say, when the announcement was made that if we sign-up, it will be for 12 months? Those who signed up just before the 'yearly subscription' announcement still shows the 12/31 date in our profiles.
